About Us

  • We started with nail clippers because that's where the fear is. Almost every pet owner has cut too deep once — the nail bleeds, the paw gets yanked back, and from then on the clippers mean something bad is about to happen. Most people just stop trimming, the nails get longer, and the next attempt is riskier than the last.

The problem was never nerve. It's that the vein ends in a different place on every nail, and you can't see it through an opaque one. So we built a clipper around a light instead of adding a light to a clipper.

We'll also tell you what it doesn't do. On white and amber nails the quick is unmistakable. On genuinely black nails you get a glow and a rough boundary — helpful, not definitive. You'll find that on the product page too, because you'd find it out on your own dog otherwise.

Thank you for choosing Pawvera PetCo — where every pet gets the care they deserve.
